Introduction

We are the Houston chapter of the national organization known as the Infusion Nurses Society. Our goal is to expand our knowledge base regarding all forms of infusion therapy and contribute to evidence-based practice decisions. We want to  educate nurses regarding new medicines and new ideas about safe infusion practice. 

Infusion practice around the world impacts thousands of lives every day. Infusion therapy is not without risks, and we endeavor to promote knowledge that will contribute to best practices. We present educational programs on a variety of topics, including new drugs, products, and diseases, so that all nurses, in whatever role we're employed,  may be knowledgeable about new and promising treatments, and better understand diseases that we might encounter. 

We meet once each month except for December at various venues in the Houston area. Our annual dues are only $40.00, which provides chapter membership from January (or whenever you pay your dues for that calendar year) to the next January.   That entitles you to wonderful dinners, educational presentations and professional networking. 

We encourage you to register and attend a meeting for free to see if we are a good fit for your needs. After that, we ask that you join our wonderful chapter. If you feel that you'll only be able to attend one or two meetings in a year, there is an option of attending without joining as a member, just by paying $5.00 for each meeting that you attend.

Because our meetings fill up quickly, we encourage you to respond to the email invitations promptly.  Please check the emails carefully to see who/how to respond as some sponsors require that you respond to them directly do sign up.
